Florida bill would allow students to have off the day after Halloween

Your kids might get the day after Halloween off starting upcoming year, should a new bill be passed.

The bill, submitted in the Florida Senate, would certainly permit students to have off the day adhering to Halloween.

It would call for district school boards to mark the day after Halloween as a “school holiday.”

The only exemption would be if Halloween falls on a Friday or Saturday, which is the case for 2020.

The bill, if passed, would certainly act on July 1, 2020, and the primary implemented vacation would remain in 2021.
